Worship
Worship is central to what we do and how we define ourselves as a community. We welcome you to take part in any of our worship services.
Sunday Worship
Every Sunday, we celebrate the Holy Eucharist in the church at both 8am and 10:30am. We offer the laying on of hands for healing at both services. The early service at 8am is intimate and contemplative. The larger 10:30am service features music from one or more of our choirs accompanied by pipe organ as well a special reflection time for children.
All are welcome to receive the Eucharist here. In our tradition, the Communion meal consists of both bread and wine. Our bread is given out in wafers. If it is your preference not to drink or choose to receive the bread only, that is perfectly acceptable. Also, gluten-free wafers are available at for those who need them.
Weekday Worship
We offer a variety of options during the week for worship:
- At 12 noon every weekday and Saturdays, the service of Noonday Prayer is offered in Trinity Chapel. This brief service is an important part of our ministry of prayer for our community and all those who touch us.
- On Monday evenings, an open, inter-faith group gathers in the Chapel at 7:30 pm for thirty minutes of silent Christian meditation, preceded by a brief reading and followed by optional sharing. All are welcome.
- On Wednesday mornings at 8 am we hold a service of Morning Prayer in the Chapel. Join us for a brief service to start the day followed by a light breakfast in our Parish House.
- We also hold special seasonal worship on weekdays as needed. Details about upcoming seasonal worship services are available to the right. These liturgies are a significant part of our annual schedule. In this last year, we have offered four seasonal sung Evensong services, Stations of the Cross every Wednesday during Lent, a full complement of services for Holy Week, a Thanksgiving Day celebration of Holy Eucharist, a New Year's Eve prayer service celebrating the in the tradition of the Taizé Community, an instrumental Celtic Evensong, and much, much more! We welcome you to join us to celebrate any season of the year.
