Music at Saint Bartholomew's

facade of organ
Let every instrument be tuned for praise!
Let all rejoice who have a voice to raise!
And may God give us faith to sing always
Alleluia!
(from When in our music God is glorified by Fred Pratt Green)

Be it spirited congregational singing or inspired, high-quality ensemble performance, music is important to our life of communal praise and prayer at St. Bartholomew’s.

This is reflected in the opportunities for serving in a musical capacity as well as concert offerings to the parish and larger community.

Ted Davis, organist and choirmaster

A unique collaboration between organ builders Casavant Frères of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, and David M. Storey, Inc. of Baltimore, has produced a unique instrument. Casavant Opus 2267, originally built in 1955 for a Catholic parish in Quebec, has been lovingly transported, restored, and expanded. St. Bartholomew's Church invites you to join us in celebrating this new treasure.
